UPDATE: I am not abandoning my blog.

It’s been officially 4 months and 13 days since the last time I blogged!!! I promise you I had no intentions of abandoning my blog and I don’t intend on abandoning it anytime soon either. I miss blogging so much and I’m so happy that I’m finally making time to get back at it. If you don’t know me personally, then one thing you MUST know about me is that I am literally the busiest 16 year old in the whole United States of America. I don’t even know how I make time to sleep. Now here are a few things that happened during those four months I was gone.

• Went to Disneyland for the first time ever!!!
• Went to and lived at UCLA for 6 weeks
• Senior year began and I’m officially ASB President
• Performed in Drama’s first play of the year: Acting Can Be Murder
• DRAMA IS GOING TO DISNEYLAND!
• Homecoming week was “Remember the Titans”: Sep 28 – Oct 2
• Homecoming Dance was on Oct 3
• Got my first job at Zumiez!!!
• I TURN 17 NEXT WEEK!!!!!

I’m basically going to blog about each and every one of those bullet points because those are some very memorable eventful moments in my life that has happened in the past 4 months and 13 days and I’m so happy each and every one one of them has happened. Another thing you need to know about me is that I am an extremely wordy teenager. Anyways, I’m most definitely not going to blog about each one of those bullet points in order so get ready to expect the unexpected tomorrow! Hopefully I can make it unexpected. Goodnight ❤

A Late Post about My Sweet 16. Pt 1

I haven’t been updating my blog lately and I kinda regret not making the time to every week so sorry about that for those who read my blog -sad face emoji- but I do have a lot to write about because I feel like a bunch of things have occurred since the last time I wrote. c: I’ll just make this post like a “part 1” type of thing and complete another blog post either Friday or during our four day week. Be ready for 2 more upcoming posts!!

These are my friends who attended my birthday 😀

For my birthday, I did have a mini sweet 16 and it was more fun that I thought it would be! I’m not good with hosting parties because I just enjoy kickbacks with a group of people, eating food, and watching movies which is why the party was kinda awkward in the beginning somewhat, but eventually everyone got comfortable with each other and it was super fun! I got a lot of money and a few gifts and like the spender that I am, all of that money went down the drain lol. I spent that money on clothes, shoes, and on my friends because if I had a bunch of money to splurge, I’d definitely spend it on my friends. I like the thought of making memories more than worrying about how much money I’m going to have left in my life. That’s going to be bad for me in college too. I’m going to learn how to save money when I get a job this year. Hopefully I do this year.

Urban Decay’s Naked 2 Pallet.

I’m going to tell a small story about this gift because I think it’s pretty special to me. This is the Urban Decay Naked 2 makeup pallet that my best friend Daniel got for me! During the summer of this year, we hung out at the mall once and I was giving him makeup tutorials in the Sephora section in JCPenny. I was telling him about how much girls love getting this pallet because of how pretty the eye shadows are and how much money they’re willing to spend just for pretty colors. The pallet was about $50 and he was pretty shocked to see how pricey makeup can be. I thought he was joking about getting me the pallet for my birthday considering that during that time my birthday was going to be 4 moths later and he’s super forgetful. He was able to surprise me and get this gift and I cherish this little makeup pallet so much because of how thoughtful he was to actually remember the fact that all girls love this.

My Birthday and Week was Great!

Finally, I’m officially sixteen years old since Wednesday!!! I finally have more advantages of getting a job now because I’ve been dying to get one since last year. I’m not trying to worry so much about a job yet because I honestly have more things on my mind to get done as of right now instead. For my birthday, I went to school, rehearsals, and went home. It felt like a regular day in my opinion, but that doesn’t bother me because I was completely fine with that and I’m not the type to expect so much. The only thing different was the small gifts I received and having people come up to me wishing me a happy birthday. That made me really happy because it was so sweet of everyone to come up to me and wish me a happy birthday! I had a very exhausting day for some reason too. When I came home, I went straight to sleep. It was a good day overall though and I had a wonderful birthday. (:

Castanon happens to be my birthday twin!!! He’s finally 21 and I’m finally 6 😀

This was super sweet of student government to do c: I love my poster and I loved how they sang really off to me.

On Monday, I got an early gift from my Giant Step Youth Group and they gave me cupcakessss! They were delicious and I was super happy c:

Other than that, my week happen to be really great and tiring again like always. On Monday, I had a blast with my youth group. On Tuesday, I went to delta and passed the test I took! On Wednesday, I had a great birthday. And today was half day.

Today after school, me and a few of my friends went straight to the mall to go see the new store in the mall called H&M. It was disappointing to us. I mean everything is so nice and big, but I think our only problem had to be the fact that it was crowded and too overwhelming. Since it’s opening day today, of course it would be pack but we also couldn’t find anything really appealing to us. I’ll look more into the store when I have money to spend. We ended up walking to Buffalo Wild Wings to eat some comfort food. We bonded and shared secrets and then headed to target to try on some ridiculous costumes and play hide and seek. LOL. I love my friends. Then we had rehearsals and college night to attend so it was really fun today! I’m living a happy life (

Last Weekend was Fun.

I didn’t really spend my last weekend doing anything productive besides going out with my cousin Sharlene. On Friday it was a really interesting day though. My friends and I went to go see Annabelle and I hated it because I hate horror films. I can’t watch anything scary or else I’ll be paranoid for a long period of time. Eventually I stop getting paranoid, but it takes me like a month until I feel safe again. When I’m older. I’m probably going to live alone so I need to avoid anything scary. I had my eyes closed throughout the movie so while everyone else was jumping and screaming, I had no idea what was going on. It was a night well spent with my friends though.

I don’t understand why I agreed to see this to be honest.

During the weekend, I didn’t do much but go to a few places to run some errands with my cousin. She took me out as an early birthday gift and we went out to Chillis and Tutti Fruitti. It was my first time having yogurt over there and I really liked the flavors that they served especially the green tea one. Speaking about my birthday, it’s coming up soon! I’m so excited to turn 16 because by then, I’ll finally be able to go apply for jobs and earn money on my own. After I get birthday money, I’m probably going to waste it, BUT I’ll do my best to manage my money wisely. I plan to open a bank account, use my money for my permit, and then I’ll use the rest of my money for the list of things I need. I haven’t made that list yet, but I know for a fact that half the money I receive will be saved.

 

This was so yummy! I’m glad she chose to go here to end our night. Raspberries are my favorite berries!
